Following his graduation from the University of Central Florida in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Science Education, Douglas Charles delivered marine biology lectures when employed at SeaWorld of Florida. He furthered his aquatic experience entering the aquatic management business in 1987, first as a licensed aquatic biologist and then in sales at a central Florida aquatic management firm.

Doug Charles co-founded an aquatic management firm in 1992 and further expanded his aquatic management experience in 2005 into northeast and northwest Florida, and later in south Georgia. Charles Aquatics, Inc’s service territory currently includes northeast Florida, northwest Florida, central Florida and south Georgia. Doug is currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Commercial Applicator in Aquatics and Right of Way.

James H. Charles, III, a 1980 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, gained twenty six years experience in management and production with two national biological production and supply firms prior to his association with Charles Aquatics, Inc. in 2006.

Currently licensed by the state of Florida as a Commercial Applicator in Aquatics, Jim Charles supervises the operations of aquatic biologists employed by Charles Aquatics, Inc.
